Style Icon Who Wore It Better? Competition Winners
With the Agency growing in reputation and with many more exciting plans on the horizon the competition for fashion favor in the Who Wore It Better? polls is really heating up in the forum.
This month’s contest saw the heavyweight Style Icon Collection wow us with idols worthy of fashion worship. Each dress represented a trendsetting icon all of whom contributed to so many groundbreaking styles and which we still see evolving today.
The winner of The Blondie category was Miss Nikayla who brought her own passion for wearing unique fashions and accessories in styling her partying Star, Susannah Caspe. “I chose this dress for Susannah because of her bright red lips and lightly tanned skin. I added large, bright & funky accessories which helped complement the simple, elegant dress.
The fabulous Alexa Blaize gave us an exclusive insight into her winning Star, Gwili Hamasaki who insisted upon wearing The Madonna herself because she was the one whose bold fearlessness inspired her to go into the music business before she made it in the movie world. In a daring move Alexa sold an unnamed moody yet successful diva to take a chance on Gwili who has a famous older sister already at the Agency!
A previous winner of Who Wore It Better? Agent Herlijk is proving her style credentials time and again and this time with another of her Star’s, Whoopi Cannon. “It was going to take someone special to pull off ‘The Marilyn’ dress and despite feeling a little down right now, Whoopi’s natural glamour shone through”.
Sex and the City fanatic Agent Tiffie knew instantly The Sarah Jessica Parker dress was a perfect fit on Whitney Massman. Inspired by her win Agent Tiffie went out and bought her the entire Must Carrie Collection! She’s wearing the exclusive Carrie Wedding dress with pride now in Fame or Lame – even if it is scaring off potential husbands!
Agent Diana Love is an Agent who understands what it takes to make it in this business. Her tactics were to take a chance on perhaps the least popular dress and give ‘The Twiggy’ a fresh, original look by adding a vest & boots. You can also see her Star, Lyle Schwan, as one of the faces of the Agency on the website homepage.
British Agent, Miss Allen, teamed her Star’s win in ‘The Victoria’ category with the perfect mix of accessories. A Star of many critically acclaimed independent movies, Molly Parera showed she was more than comfortable in her new role as a growing fashion icon.
Other winners of the Style Icon Collection included WWIB regulars Agent Mickey won ‘The Guys’ outfit with Jacob Tom, Agent Gaga whose Star, Alla Farrell, won two awards for ‘The Grace’ and ‘The Princess Diana’ and Agent Foxxi Girl who won 2 categories for ‘The Sienna’ and ‘The Audrey’ with Martine Frooks & Helena Portman respectively. All were unavailable for comment.
Sources at the Agency have also confirmed that coming out this Thursday is The Young Hollywood Collection which celebrates styles from the silver screen’s rising stars. The Who Wore It Better? competition is sure to be fun! Are you willing to put your rising Star on the Walk of Fame and be judged for the opportunity to win an exclusive prize?

“From the moments they tried them on I knew I was going to win. The dress fit their look and personality perfectly. Rubye Enos captured the sophitcation of ‘The Cheryl’ and with Paraminder Duke looking like an Indian diva it just looked great!”
Winning stylist of Alla Farrell, Agent Lady Gaga, was keen to take her inspiration from her own passion for old Hollywood style icons like Grace Kelly & Rita Hayworth and chose the simple but beautiful ‘The Kate’ dress. “My opponents in the competition did look lovely but Alla rocked the dress. When it comes to elegance and sophistication nobody touches her but thanks for the votes guys – you’re awesome!”

– Agent Tiffie’s Star, Adrienne James, who posed so elegantly in ‘The Camilla’ a couple of the guys in the office had to be resuscitated!
To prove that true style never goes out of fashion Agent Velvet Touch was inspired to dress her Star, Brynn Britt, in Audrey Hepburn’s classic 1954 Givenchy. “The dress is so pretty that I just knew Brynn’s feminine charm would be a perfect fit. She’s a tough cookie to please at times but she shone on the red carpet in this dress”
With many fashion commentators even suggesting Marthe Snipes wore Renee Zellweger’s daring vintage dress better than Renee herself Agent Lyric was rightly proud of her runaway win in the Who Wore It Better poll. “Both the cut and beautiful yellow color were gorgeous and in keeping the styling simple with a bracelet and earrings the dress remained the focus”.
Popular socialite Agent Marin won ‘The Hilary’ dress-off with her Star, Bryce Buchanan, with the Agency’s judges loving the well-chosen necklace and purse to offset this navy blue knockout. The striking Guy Laroche dress clings to every curve but with a body to die Agent Marin was confident Bryce could pull it off. “Bryce is a health food fanatic and being a big fan of the sleek Gwyneth Paltrow I wanted to fuse laid back & glam styles together”.
The sumptuous red Versace dress made famous by Catherine Zeta Jones at the 1999 Academy Awards proved extremely popular across the red carpets this year and really made the competition fierce for Who Wore It Better. Agent BrookeDyme’s controversial Star, Marlene Mulhare beat off the rest, looking the picture of elegance with matching accessories and was keen to promote her Star. “Although Marlene has the classic ‘girl-next-door’ she is not afraid of being controversial and after being spotted on a nudist beach last week the PR in winning this competition has been priceless”.
Highflying British Agent, Wilhelmina, stole the fashion limelight by playing stylist to Iris Streep who won not one but 2 style categories for both ‘The Halle’ and ‘The Kate’! “I knew the ‘one-shoulder’ trend was still going strong so ‘The Kate’ was always going to be a success and with probably the finest Oscar dress ever ‘The Halle’ Iris wore it best because she simply IS the best!” Agent Wilhelmina was later heard confessing that it was her looks rather than her talent that had made her successful!
Other winners from the ‘Who Wore It Better’ Competition included Agent Menage whose Star, Ornella Doran, rocked the style stakes by wowing the crowds in Penelope Cruz’s 2007 nude Versace gown, Agent MinaJay whose re-work of the classic Julia Roberts Valentino dress on her Star, Junie Suvari, had all the hallmarks of a real movie star and last but by no means least was Agent Mickey who won the category for dressing her Star, Jeannine Hibbard, in Theo King’s take on Keira Knightley’s opulent, plum Vera Wang creation.
